All Things Fabulous and Tasteful Touches

Hello to you today!  I have a great card for you using the All Things Fabulous stamp set and the Tasteful Touches stamp set.  I was influenced by Gail Ellis for my card, but I changed a few things.  Gail has beautiful work.  Here is my card for today.

All Things Fabulous Project by Jo Anne Hewins

The base of my card is Gorgeous Grape cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.  The Highland Heather layer is 4 x 5 1/4.

The next layer is patterned paper from the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper.  It's a Gray Granite dainty little herringbone.  Cut this layer at 3 7/8 x 5 1/8.  Put this layer in the Stamparatus and position the saying from Tasteful Touches.  It should be in the upper left corner-maybe over a little and down a little.  I love using the Stamparatus for this step.  I can stamp again making sure the saying is dark and easily read.

Cut the detailed label die from Gorgeous Grape.  This die is part of the Fabulous Floral dies.  Let me say that I used the brand new Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine to cut this die.  I kid you not, I rolled it through one time and that was all I needed!  For a review of this machine to here.  The Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine is available NOW to everyone!  You'll also need to cut a triangle from another piece of the Peony Garden patterned paper.  I chose another of the Gray Granite designs.  This triangle will go in the lower right corner.  Use the Stitched Triangle dies.  Hide part of the Gorgeous Grape design behind the triangle and let part stick out.

Time to stamp the flowers.  These are truly the star of the card.  This is a three step stamping experience.  It might be just a little hard to tell which flower parts go together.  If you look on the plastic sheet holding the stamps, the stamps are marked.  For this flower use stamps 1A, 1B, and 1C.  Another hint that might help is that you do not need to be perfect.  Just do your best and it will be fine!  If you look at each stamp, there is a wide area especially in the smaller two.  Just try to match that up.  First stamp the largest stamp in stamped off Highland Heather.  The middle sized stamp is stamped in Highland Heather.  The smallest stamp is stamped in Gorgeous Grape.  Stamp three flowers on Whisper White and cut them out using the Fabulous Florals dies.

Stamp three of the leaves in Old Olive ink on white and cut them out with the dies.

Add the flowers and leaves with glue and dimensionals where needed.

Here'a a peek at the inside of the card.

The saying is part of the All Things Fabulous stamp set.  Add the leaves to the stamped flower by making a mask using a sticky note.
