Merry Moose Brings Happy Holidays

The Merry Moose bundle is back sharing his happiness again this season. I'm so happy Stampin' Up! has brought him back! You gotta love the moose! It's Thursday and I'll be sharing my card for the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #625. This week we have a sketch.

Here is my card for the week.

So Stampin' Up! has a few items in the August-December Mini Catalog that are returning! You know it's really hard to say good bye sometimes. Now we don't have to, for a few items anyway! Besides the Merry Moose stamp set, the Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper is back!

The base of this card is Thick Very Vanilla. It measures 4 1/4 x 11 and is scored and folded at 5 1/2. Add a piece of the Garden Green side of the check Toile Tidings paper. It is cut to 2 1/2 x 5. Start at the fold.

Stamp the larger evergreen tree from the Merry Moose stamp set on Very Vanilla card stock. Punch this with the 2 1/4" Circle Punch. Cut a scallop circle that's just a little bigger using the Layering Circles dies. Adhere the layers and add to the front of the card below center and a little to the right.

Stamp the moose in Soft Suede ink on Very Vanilla. Color in the antlers with a Light Crumb Cake Blend. Color in the rest of the moose with a Dark Crumb Cake Blend. Punch out with the Moose Punch. Add to the card with dimensionals. Stamp the scarf and hat in Real Red ink on vanilla. You do need to fussy cut these. Glue the scarf. Add a piece of a dimensional to the back of the hat.

Add a strip of the Real Red paper across the hooves of the moose. It's 1/4 x 3. Stamp the saying in Garden Green on a scrap of vanilla. Cut around the words and add along the strip of designer paper.

Add some of the snow flakes from the set in Garden Green.

For the inside of the card, the saying is stamped in Real Red. Stamp the larger tree. Stamp 3 times and then 2 more times, stamped off. Add in a little of the tree trunks with a Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker.

Stamp, color, and punch the moose as on the front of the card. Stamp a scarf and cut it out. Add all to the card.

I really love how this card turned out using the sketch. I'll be making more of these!
