Blossoms in Bloom Easy Stamping
August 20, 2020
Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #626. This week we are using the colors Misty Moonlight, Mossy Meadow, and Cinnamon Cider.
Here is my card using the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set.
This is a super simple card to make. There's a few layers, stamping, and ribbon. That's it!
The card base is Misty Moonlight that is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4. The next layer is Cinnamon Cider cut to 3 7/8 x 5 1/8.
The Whisper White layer is 3 3/4 x 5. First stamp the large cluster of flowers in Misty Moonlight ink near the bottom left corner. Add leaves in Mossy Meadow throughout the flowers. Stamp the saying in Mossy Meadow in the upper right corner. Add two single flowers around the saying. Make leaves for these flowers in Mossy Meadow.
Stamp Cinnamon Cider in the center of the flowers. Stamp off for all of the flower centers. The lone flowers have a different center.
Tape a length of the Misty Moonlight Ribbon across the card. I tape from the back. Add a bow with a glue dot. You may want to add a glue dot under the ribbon that goes across too to hold it in place.
The inside of the cards looks almost like the outside. The saying of course is different and there aren't any extra single flowers. Easy peasy!
