Friday! It's free tutorial day! I have a great card for you today by Carol Cusick using the Tasteful Touches stamp set. Stamp Set and Die Bundle: Tasteful Touches (154098)
Cardstock: Petal Pink (146985); Whisper White (100730)
Ink: Memento (132708)
Tools & Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (152718), Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Combo (154893), Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Combo (154883), Wink of Stella (141897), Stampin’ Trimmer (152392), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Bone Folder (102300), Paper Snips (103579)
Designer Paper: In Good Taste (152494)
Misc: Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (151193)
Measurements:
Card Base (Petal Pink): 7-3/4” x 4-1/4” scored at 5-1/2”
Petal Pink mats: 3-3/4” x 3”; 2-1/4” x 2-1/4”
Whisper White mats: 4” x 5-1/4”; 3-1/2” x 2-3/4”; scrap for sentiment and flowers
In Good Taste Designer Paper: 2” x 4”; 2” x 2”
Instructions:
Fold card base on score line and burnish with a bone folder to get a good crease
Adhere taller strip of designer paper to outside fold of card base
Emboss smaller piece of Whisper White using embossing machine and the Tasteful Textile embossing folder and adhere to Petal Pink mat (3-3/4” x 3”)
Stamp sentiment on Whisper White scrap using Memento ink and die cut
Stamp 2 flowers in Memento Ink on Whisper White and color using Stampin’ Blends listed above
Cut flowers using paper snips and add sparkle using Wink of Stella
Arrange flowers and sentiment on embossed and matted Whisper White panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals
Adhere 3 rhinestones to sentiment
Adhere this panel only to the left card front flap using liquid glue making sure you are able to open the card
On the Whisper White panel for inside of card (4” x 5-1/4”), stamp flower using Memento on the lower left corner and color using Stampin’ Blends
On the 2-1/4” Petal Pink square and 2” designer paper square — cut diagonally from corner to corner to create 2 triangles using Stampin’ Trimmer
Glue designer paper triangle to Petal Pink triangle (save the second completed triangle for another project)
On the back side of one of the triangles, attach a dimensional in each of the 3 corners (see photo) and adhere to the upper right edge of your Whisper White mat (4” x 5-1/4”)
You can now adhere your completed Whisper White mat to the inside of the card
Close card tucking the upper right corner of your card front panel under the triangle in the upper right corner
