It's a Beautiful World
June 11, 2020
Have you noticed the World of Good Suite on pages 24-26 of the Stampin' Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog? It makes great masculine cards, adventure cards, and travel memories.
You just might want to check it out. Today I have a card using the Beautiful World stamp set, the World Map dies, the Old World Paper embossing folder, and the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper. I'm using a sketch from the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #616.
Here is the card that I made using this fantastic suite.
The card base is Early Espresso and is cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4. Run the front of the card through a die cut and emboss machine with the Old World Paper embossing folder. It's just so pretty!
Add a piece of the World of Good Specialty paper cut to 3 x 4 1/4. I love the map! I sponged around the edges of this paper with Early Espresso ink.
The next layer looks like an old weathered document of some sort. Cut the paper at 2 x 4 and sponge around it as well. Place it leaning over toward the right.
The Bumblebee strip is from this same paper pack. It is 3/4 x 3 1/4.
The world is stamped in Early Espresso on Misty Moonlight card stock. Cut it out with the World May dies. Cut the globe stand from Gold Foil. Glue to the globe and add it with dimensionals.
The saying is stamped in Early Espresso. Cut out with the Stitched Shapes dies. Add with dimensionals.
Add a few Misty Moonlight dots from the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots. Now there has been some issues with the enamel dots coming apart. I think they are not orderable at this time while the situation is fixed.
Here's the inside of the card. It's all stamped in Early Espresso and is part of the Beautiful World stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! If you don't have this suite, you might want to consider it. Did you notice that the entire suite and be ordered with just one number, #154140. That's convenient!
