Forever Flourishing Dies Make a Great Background

As part of the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge I'll be featuring the Forever Flourishing dies.  We have a color challenge using Purple Posy, Night of Navy, and Coastal Cabana.

The Forever Flourishing dies are so pretty and intricate.  There are beautiful leaf fronds.  Just look at this background made using the cut outs from these dies.

The base for this card is Night of Navy that is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.

The next layer is Coastal Cabana cut to 3 7/8 x 5 1/8.

The Whisper White layer is 3 3/4 x 5.  Cut 2 of each color frond.  I used a different frond for each color of Purple Posy, Night of Navy, and Coastal Cabana.  Place the cut outs on the white layer until you have them just where you want them.  Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere each one.  Just squirt some of the glue on a Silicone Craft Sheet.  Use a sponge to add glue to the back of each cut out.  Be careful not to move the cut out while gluing so you don't get glue on the front.

Adhere the white layer to the Coastal Cabana one.

Color a 5 1/2 inch length of Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding with a Dark Night of Navy Blend.  Add across the card just a little below center and tape to the back.

The saying is from the Forever Fern stamp set.  Stamp in Night of Navy on Whisper White.  Cut out with the Stitched Shapes dies.  Add to the card with dimensionals.  Color Basic Rhinestones with the Dark Night of Navy Blend, let dry, and add to the label.

Color more of the seam binding and tie a bow.  Add to the card with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, the saying is from the Forever Fern set stamped in Night of Navy.  Add a few more fronds.

The Forever Fern stamp set and the Forever Flourishing dies can be purchased as a bundle for a savings of 10%.  I believe that this bundle will be one of the most popular from the catalog.  The stamps, not featured here, are a distinktive set meaning that it has a lot of detail without much effort.  It really is a must have bundle.  The order number is 154094 and can be found on page 174.  I highly recommend it.
