Country Club Designer Series Paper

I love plaid! I love navy and green! This card is going to my son! At the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge we have a sketch for you today.

And here is my card.

This card is quite simple. Start with a card base of Night of Navy that is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.

The next layer is the navy plaid patterned paper from the Country Club Designer Series Paper. Cut it to 4 x 5 1/4.

The green plaid paper strips measure 1 1/4 x 3 3/4. You will need three of them. Use your grid paper to determine the center of your card vertically. Glue the first strip in the center still using the grid paper to get it straight. Now glue the top and the bottom strips carefully aligning them.

The Night of Navy layer is 2 1/4 x 3 3/4. Add to the card with dimensionals.

The saying on this card is from the Stampin' Up! Share Sunshine download. It is a fund raiser for Covid-19. See more about this at the end of the post. Cut out using the Stitched Shapes dies. Glue to the navy layer. Place a dimensional to adhere the right side.

Use the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker's Twine to add a little interest across the card. Take a piece of the twine and tie a knot at each end. Fray each end. Add with rolled up glue dots. This twine is on sale under the Last Chance Products.

Here's the inside of the card. Sorry about the shady picture! The saying is from the Share Sunshine download. I added a piece of Night of Navy behind it.
