Full of Happiness- April Class 2020

Thanks for attending class with me.  This post is for Wednesday, April 8th.  I am making a post each day of this week, April 6-10.  This is the class I would normally have in my home.  The quarantine has made that impossible.  I know that many of you are home and crafting during this time.  This is my way of sharing with you.  Each day I will have a card, a blog post, a video, and a downloadable tutorial.  There are a limited supply of cards kits available.  If you are interested, email me at johewins@gmail.com.  This is available only to those in the US.  Cost for local pick up from the box in my carport is $15.  Cost for a kit that is mailed would be $20.  Please note that we cannot send stamped images to you.  Other stamps can be substituted.  If you would like to make an order, please look at the end of the post for links.   I thank you and enjoy!

Card Base: Thick Whisper White 5 ½ x 8 ½, score at 4 ¼

Cardstock #2: Whisper White 4 x 5 ¼ for eggs and chick

Cardstock #3:

Designer Paper: Bird Ballad 3 5/8 x 2 ½ , Dinoroar 2 ¼ x 5 ¼

Fold Thick Whisper White and burnish with Bone Folder.

Add the Dinoroar Designer Series Paper to the side and the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper across the bottom.

Stamp the egg shapes and the inside décor of the eggs in Pretty Peacock on one side of the whisper white. Stamp the chick on the other side. This chick will not need legs. Use Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, and Memento Black to stamp the chick. Be very careful with the placement of the beak and eyes. While you are stamping, go ahead and stamp the chick inside the card. Add the feet to this one in Pumpkin Pie.

Use the Dino dies to cut out the eggs.

Fussy cut the chick.

Add these to the card front with dimensionals. One egg will overlap the other. Use glue there instead of a dimensional.

Stamp two little flowers on scrap white and cut. Stamp one more flower inside the card.

Add the flowers to the eggs on the front with a glue dot. Add a Pretty Peacock faceted dot to the center of the flowers on the front.

The hello on the front is stamped in Pretty Peacock. It is from Timeless Tropical.

Add the saying on the inside from Full of Happiness. Stamp in Pretty Peacock.
