Forever Blooms A Tutorial Medley Card by Me

Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #602 Peaceful Poppies

Today we have a sketch for the Create with Connie and Mary Challenge #602.

I used the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper and the Peaceful Poppies Elements to make my card.

CCMC #602 Poppy by Jo Anne Hewins

This was an easy card to make.  The base is Thick Whisper White cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2.  Score and fold at 4 1/4.

The Peaceful Poppies paper was cut to fit the card front at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  Use Multipurpose Liquid  Glue to adhere.  This glue gives you a little give so you can place it just right.

The 2 thin rectangles are cut from Old Olive.  This paper is part of the Regals 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.  They are 1/2 x 3 1/2 and 1/2 x 3 3/4.

Use the Stitched So Sweetly dies to cut the second largest rectangle in Whisper White.

The saying is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.  Stamp in Poppy Parade.

Run a length of Old Olive ribbon from the Botanical Prints Product Medley across the lower part of the banner.  Make a bow to add later.  Add the banner to the center of the card with dimensionals.

Add the printed die cuts to the rectangle corners.  These are from the Peaceful Poppies Elements.  This kit also has vellum elements.  Use a sponge dauber to add Poppy Parade to the back of a flower and Old Olive to the back of 4 leaves.  Punch these out and add to the banner.  Stick those leaves behind the printed cut outs.

Add the bow with a glue dot.
