Color Fusers Blog Hop for January 2020

Happy New Year!  Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for January.  You might have just come from Nicolle's post.  Wow!  Great project!  This month we are using the colors Blueberry Bushel, Rick Razzleberry, Basic Gray, and Basic Black.

I decided to use the new Bonanza Buddies Bundle.  It has the Bonanza Buddies stamp set and the Bonanza dies.

The lion, koala, and toucan are just precious!  If you are going to need a birthday card for a child, or even an adult, you will want this bundle!  There's lot of new product, so let's get started.

The base of this card is Blueberry Bushel measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.  There is another layer of Blueberry Bushel that is 4 1/8 x 5 3/8.  I used the new Stone Embossing Folder for this layer.  You can get this embossing folder free.  It's part of the Power of Hope Bundle in the Sale-a-Bration Brochure.  With a $100 purchase you can earn the Power of Hope stamp set and Stone 3D Embossing Folder and page 15.  I love this folder!

The tag is cut using the Bonanza Dies and the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper.  Color a piece of the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding that's about 3 inches long with a Dark Rich Razzleberry Blend.  Tie that into the topper of the tag.  Add the tag with dimensionals.

Cut two each of the banners (rounded and pointed) from Rich Razzleberry card stock.  I added the banners first to the tag.  Cut pieces to continue the banners across the card front.

Stamp 3 of the koalas on Whisper White in Basic Gray.  Stamp the face in Memento Black.  Cut out with the dies.  Place one of koalas on the tag and the other two peeping out from the sides.

Fussy cut the candle.  The candle topper and birthday hats do have dies.

Stamp the saying in Blueberry Bushel on white.  Fussy cut and add to the top of the tag.

Color Fusers Bonanza Buddies Inside by Jo Anne Hewins

Here is the inside of my card.  The saying is from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set.  You can stamp the koala right on the inside card stock.  I messed up stamping my face so I just covered it up with a die cut.  I like that it's so easy to hide my mistake!

Kelly is next!

Thanks so much Christy. I'm really liking the Bonanza Buddies stamp set. I see some animal cards in my granddaughter Sagan's future. I need to make cards from this to give my daughter Jessie to have on hand!
