Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #589 Stitched Stars

Today for the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #589 we have are using Coastal Cabana, Real Red, and Shaded Spruce.

I decided to use the Stitched Stars dies to make my card.

I wanted to show that the Stitched Stars dies are not just for Christmas.

Start with a base of Real Red that measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and is folded at 4 1/4.

Cut three sets of the stars in both Coastal Cabana and Shaded Spruce. You can place the smaller star die inside the larger one and cut at once. Now cut the scroll die two times from both colors. You really just want the stars that cut out of it.

Glue the stars down on the card front. They will stick out over the edges. That's fine. Some have Shaded Spruce on the outside and some are opposite. Turn the card over and snip off the excess card stock.

Add some the extra stars with glue dots.

Stamp the saying from Woven Heirlooms in Shaded Spruce on Whisper White. Cut out with the Stitched Shapes circles. Add with dimensionals and add a Shaded Spruce star.

Tie Real Red Cotton Ribbon around the card and tie in a knot.

Here is the inside of the card. Use your left over stars and add another saying from Woven Heirlooms.

And now I must tell you that I used Pool Party instead of Coastal Cabana. I just noticed as I'm writing this. It's too late to change. I'm out of town and it's the holidays. I apologize. Thank you for understanding! It would still be pretty with Coastal Cabana.
