Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #581 So Many Stars

Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #581.  We are using the colors Seaside Spray, Gray Granite, and Night of Navy.  These colors are so lovely together!

I used the So Many Stars Bundle for my card.  I have to admit that it's my first time using it, but it certainly won't be the last.

Start with a card base of Gray Granite that measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.  Stamp over the front randomly with the swirl stamp from the Stargazing stamp set.  Change the orientation of the stamp.  It's also good to go off the edges of the paper when stamping a background.  Add in some of the stars and dots from the So Many Stars stamp set.  All is stamped in Night of Navy.

The Night of Navy gingham paper (Regals Designer Series Paper) and the Seaside Spray gingham paper (2019-2021 In Color Designer Series Paper) are cut using the Stitched Stars dies.  More stars are cut using these dies and Night of Navy, Seaside Spray, and Gray Granite cardstock.

The saying is from the Stargazing stamp set.  Stamp in Night of Navy on Seaside Spray.  Trim to fit with a trimmer.

The small Gray Granite stars are covered in Wink of Stella to add a little glitter.

I like the gingham added to this card.  It gives it a bit of a country look.

The inside of the card has a saying from Stargazing.  Add the swirl in navy.  The stars from So Many Stars are added in Night of Navy and Seaside Spray.

Stars have become very special in my life.  My sweet granddaughter Sagan has stars in her room.  This card makes me think of her and her mom.  I hope neither of them stop stargazing!  I'm afraid I get a little weepy thinking of all the future might hold for them both.  By the way, Happy Birthday to You Jessie!

Thank you for looking at the stars with me today.  The Stargazing stamp set pairs so well with the So Many Stars bundle.  As you can see, the So Many Stars stamp set with the Stitched Stars are not just for Christmas.
