Color Fusers Blog Hop for October, 2019

Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for October.  We are using the colors Grapefruit Grove, Terracotta Tile, Cajun Craze, and Basic Black.  Aren't these colors great for fall.  You may have just come from Tami's blog.  That girl is so talented!  I am in awe.  You might just be starting.  Whatever, please visit all of our blogs on the hop.  You'll get some great ideas!

I chose to use the Gather Together Bundle.  The Gather Together stamp set is one for simple cards and for more difficult ones.  I love that!  The Gathered Leaves Dies are fantastic!  The detailed leaves are different that ever before.  I didn't use it on this card, but just spritz the cardstock and then run it through the die cutting machine with the dies.  When they come out the veins in the leaves just seem to pop.  Well I digress.  Let's get to the card for today.

Start with a card base of Cajun Craze cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.  Next is a layer of Basic Black measuring 4 x 5 1/4.  The last layer is a piece of the Terracotta Tile script from the 2019-2021 In Color Designer Series Paper stack.  It measures 3 7/8 x 5 1/8.

The Basic Black strip is cut at 1 x 3 7/8.

Stamp 3 of the large leaves from Gather Together on Whisper White.  Stamp in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Color each of the leaves with Wink of Stella.  Press the lid of the ink pad to get some ink in the lid.  Use that ink to paint in a leaf.  When the leaf is covered wipe the ink out of the lid.  You don't want to contaminate the pad with shimmer.  Make a leaf each in Terracotta Tile, Cajun Craze, and Grapefruit Grove.  Clean the Wink of Stella brush between colors.  Using the Gathered Leaves Dies, cut out all three leaves.  Now, this might be hard, but crumple up the leaves in your hand.  Make sure they are well crumpled.  They are leaves!  I added these leaves to the card front with glue dots.  I added the top and bottom ones first and then the one in the middle.

Stamp the largest pumpkin in Cajun Craze on Whisper White.  Color with Wink of Stella and ink from the Grapefruit Grove pad.  Cut it out.  Add over the stems of the leaves with dimensionals.

Stamp the saying in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Whisper White.  Cut the saying apart.  The left part of the sayings will need a dimensional.  The right side will need to be glued.

The inside of the card has a saying from the Gather Together stamp set in black.  Stamp another pumpkin for the inside.  Color just as on the front.

Here is another picture of the card with embellishments.  They are the 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots.  I colored them with a black sharpie.  Do you like it?
