Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #580 God's Peace

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. We have a sketch for challenge #580.

I used the stamp set God's Peace from the Holiday catalog.

For this card I started with a card base of Pretty Peacock that measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and is folded at 4 1/4. I have truly grown to love this color! Randomly stamp the saying Joy to the World over the card front. That saying is from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.

The banner is made using the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper. Use the largest Stitched Nested Label die to cut the banner.

Add a 3/8" strip of Copper Foil near the top of the card. The strip has been embossed with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder.

Stamp the candle on Vellum Cardstock in Versamark ink. Emboss with Copper Emboss Powder. Color in the images on the back of the vellum. The colors used are Dark Real Red, Dark Pretty Peacock, Dark Old Olive, and Dark Daffodil Delight. Go over the colors several times to get them deep and dark. I think I colored them 3 times. Fussy cut around the candle image.

Using the Layering Circles Dies, cut a circle that is close to 3" in diameter from Very Vanilla cardstock. Adhere the candle. Add the circle to the card front with dimensionals.

Stamp the saying in Pretty Peacock on Very Vanilla and cut around it. Add to the card. Use glue, but a dimensional is needed on the right.

Here is the inside of the card. All is from God's Peace and stamped in Pretty Peacock.
