Welcome once again to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #577. This week we are using Purple Posy, Gorgeous Grape, and Perfect Peacock.
And here is my card using those colors.
The card base is Purple Posy card stock cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4. The next layer is Gorgeous Grape and measures 3 3/4 x 5. The final layer is Whisper White. The measurements are 3 5/8 x 4 7/8. I used the Stylish Scroll embossing folder on this layer. Now, this is a beautiful folder. If you don't really like Halloween, you might just pass this folder by. Look on page 53 to find it. It is not just for Halloween. In fact, I think it's a classic!
Add a strip of Purple Posy designer paper that is cut to 1 3/4 x 4 7/8 a little to the left of the center of the white layer.
Now stamp the large flower in Gorgeous Grape and about 4 of the leaves in Pretty Peacock on Whisper White. You will need to cut these out. Let me point out that all of the bases of the leaves will be hidden. You can fudge a little on your cutting there!
Cut one of the sprigs from the Frosted Bouquet dies from Pretty Peacock.
Glue all the pieces to the card in a way that makes you happy!
The Hello is from the Good, Morning Magnolia stamp set. Stamp in Gorgeous Grape and trim around it. Glue to the card.
Here is the inside of the card. The saying is from the Good Morning, Magnolia stamp set. I stamped the flower in Gorgeous Grape. I also made a mask from a sticky note to cover the flower. Then add the leaves in Pretty Peacock.
Thanks so much for visiting me today. I sure do appreciate that! I would love for you to leave a comment and let me know what you think.
