The Beauty & Joy stamp set from the Holiday catalog is great for any season. I've shown a fall sample and a Christmas card on other posts. Click to find them. Today I have another card for you showing yet another potted plant.
I haven't used Blackberry Bliss in a while. I don't know why. It certainly is a favorite. The base of this card is Blackberry Bliss. It measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and is folded in half at 4 1/4.
The linen look paper is from the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper. I cut it at 4 1/8 x 5 3/8. Stamp the saying from Beauty & Joy down in the lower right hand side of the card. Stamp the dots from the set randomly over the surface. This is all done in Blackberry Bliss.
Blackberry Bliss is part of the Regals family. I used the Regals Designer Series Paper on my card. Cut it 2 x 5 3/8 and place to the left side of the card.
Stamp the plant on Whisper White. The pot is stamped in Soft Suede. The stem is Early Espresso. The leaves are Granny Apple Green. The flowers are Blackberry Bliss. Fussy cut each part and add to the Blackberry Bliss layer. I started at the bottom and worked my way up using dimensionals. I did want to ground my plant. To do that, I used a stamp from Playful Penguins. Stamp the grass in Granny Apple Green, fussy cut, and add under the pot.
The saying on the inside is from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set. Add a few Blackberry flowers around it.
Take another look at the Beauty & Joy stamp set if you haven't already. It's a year round stamp set.
