The Beauty & Joy stamp set is one you might overlook. It's toward the back on page 51 of the Holiday catalog. It covers every season and that makes it a great stamp set. I featured it last week here with a fall card. Today I have a Christmas card.
The base of this card is Real Red measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.
There is a Whisper White layer that is 3 3/4 x 5.
The next layer is 3 5/8 x 4 7/8. It's from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Down the center of the card is a layer of Real Red paper from the Regals Designer Series Paper. It measures 1 1/2 x 4 7/8.
The stamping is done on Whisper White. I started stamping from the bottom. The pot is stamped in Crumb Cake. The stem is in Early Espresso. The leaves are in Mossy Meadow. It's easy to place the parts of the tree since these are photopolymer stamps.
Cut the tree out using the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies. Add the oval with dimensionals to the center of the card.
Here is the inside of the card. The saying is from Beauty & Joy. Stamp the tree again. The berries are stamped in Real Red.
I like this card so much, that I've decided to make it part of my Christmas Card Class coming up in October! If you live in the Conover area of North Carolina, ask me for more details.
