Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge # 574 Butterfly Wishes

Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #574.  This week we have a sketch.

I am using the Butterfly Wishes stamp set for my card.

I've used the sentiments on this set, but I'm just getting into the images.  This set is part of the DistInktive collection.  That means that the detail is fantastic!

My card base is Thick Whisper White that is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4.  The next layer is Pool Party.  It is cut at 4 1/8 x 5 3/8.  I wanted a very thin line of the white showing.  I stamped one of the butterflies over the front of the card randomly.  I did stamp off for this.  I just wanted a hint of the butterflies.

I just can't seem to get enough of all of the 6 x 6 designer series papers that Stampin' Up! has this year.  I have a 1 x 4 1/2 piece of the checked Pool Party from the Subtles DSP.  I also added a 1/2 x 4 3/4 strip of Rococo Rose from the 2019-2021 In Color DSP stack.

Set the branch from Butterfly Wishes up on the Stamparatus.  I colored directly on the stamp using Rococo Rose, Pear Pizzazz, and Soft Suede Stampin' Write Markers on Whisper White.  It's hard to tell exactly where to color, but I found that it is going to look great anyway.  I used the Stampartus because I find I like to stamp more than one time when using this technique.  Cut this out using the Stitched Nested Labels.  Put the stamped image a little closer to the top so you have room for the sentiment.

For the butterfly, I inked up the body using my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.  I then stamped that right on the label.  Now stamp the butterfly in Pool Party on a white scrap.  I did wipe off the body of the butterfly and used my black marker again.  Fussy cut the butterfly and attach to the label so that it matches the antennae.

Add the label with dimensionals.  Put them on the butterfly too where it overlaps.

Stamp the saying in Rococo Rose on a 1/2 inch strip of white.  Trim and add to the bottom of the label.

Add a few of the Glitter Enamel Dots.  They are really Coastal Cabana, but I think they look great!

For the inside of the card, I repeated the images from the front.  I did not add a sentiment.
