Stamping Around the World Blog Hop-To a Wild Rose
June 13, 2019
Welcome to the Stamping Around the World Blog Hop. This group offers a tutorial for you each month. We have 13 great tutorials for the month of June and we feature lots of new products from the new Stampin' Up! 2019-2020 Annual Catalog! Our blog hop gives you get another sample to use for these products. I used the To a Wild Rose as part of my tutorial. Today I have another card using that set for you.
I think that the stamp set To a Wild Rose is so pretty. Here's my card for today.
I think Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, and Granny Apple Green are perfect for each other. The card base is Granny Apple Green and measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4. The Gorgeous Grape layer is 4 x 5 1/4.
The Highland Heather layer is 3 7/8 x 5 1/8. Stamp the flower randomly over this layer. You will not use the outline flower. Stamp the more detailed stamp in Highland Heather over the card. Now stamp off the Highland Heather and use the more solid flower. There's an easy way to match these stamps up. I'll have a video on my blog tomorrow for this card. I had three posts I had to do for today and there is only so much time. For video, go here.
For the label, use the Stitched Nested Lables. Attach with dimensionals. Stamp the flower again on Whisper White. For this one use the Gorgeous Grape pad. Stamp the more detailed flower followed by the more solid one in stamped off Gorgeous Grape. For the leaves, stamp the more detailed (It has a stem.) in the Granny Apple Green. Stamp off the more solid leaf. You will need three leaves. Use the Wild Rose Dies to cut these out.
Stamp the word Blessed from this stamp set in Gorgeous Grape and fussy cut.
The leaves and flower are attached to the label with snail. Use dimensionals where the leaves extend out over the label. The Blessed has a dimensional under the B and the rest is attached with glue dots.
The inside of the card has a saying from the To a Wild Rose stamp set. Add another rose inside using the 2 steps. I made a mask from a sticky note to cover my rose and then stamped the leaves.
This makes a beautiful card. Wouldn't you love to receive your exclusive Stamping Around the World Tutorial for June? You can get it for free with a $50 online order using the Host Code T4P3D7XJ.
