Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for June of 2019. You may have just come from Bonnie's blog. What a beautiful project. I am so excited to share my creation using Blueberry Bushel, Real Red, Gray Granite, and Basic Black.
I decided to use the Verdant Garden stamp set and the Parcels & Petals Bundle for my card today. It's so much fun to play with new product! The best part is that is will be available to all of you on June 4th! That's tomorrow! Oh, the excitement! Here's my card.
Start with a card base of Basic Black that measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.
The Gray Granite layer is 3 3/4 x 5. Let's do some stamping! Using the Verdant Garden stamp set, stamp the flower looking design. Stamp off your Blueberry Bushel ink. Stamp randomly where you want. Now stamp the other design in stamped off Gray Granite. I did try to get the design around one of the flowers, but did not really worry about the rest. I was going for random. Using the cap of the Blueberry Bushel Stampin' Write Marker, flick some dots over this layer by rubbing it against the large end of the marker.
The Basic Black design was cut using the Perfect Parcels Dies. I added this about a third down to the left.
The sentiment is from the Parcels & Petals stamp set and is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a scrap of Whisper White. It's cut out using the Perfect Parcels Dies, too. Flick more dots on this with the Blueberry Bushel marker. Add the sentiment with dimensionals.
The flowers are stamped using the Parcels & Petals stamp set in Real Red and stamped off Blueberry Bushel. You will need to fussy cut these. I add the larger red with dimensionals and the other two flowers are glued down. Add some Basic Pearls to the center of the flowers. This card may have flowers, but it still has a bit of a masculine feel to it.
For the inside of the card, I used Gray Granite again. Randomly stamp the design stamps from Verdant Garden again. The Blueberry Bushel and Gray Granite are stamped off.
The saying is stamped in Memento Black using the Stamparatus. I wanted to make sure that it would show up on the gray. This way I could stamp it again if needed. Add a few more flowers. Stamp again in Real Red and stamped off Blueberry Bushel. Fussy cut.
I'm going to love using these stamp sets. I think you will too! Thanks so much for joining me today. I'm so glad you spent a little time with me. Have a wonderful day.
Barb is next. You will love what she has to show you!
