Are you a Paper Pumpkin subscriber? The Sentimental Rose kit for April 2019 is fantastic! The stamp set is the Distinktive style that shows lots of detail. These kits just keep getting better and better each month. April's kit makes 9 note card size (3 1/2 x 5) cards, 3 of each style. There's even a box to house all of these great cards.
Here are the cards that I made with the kit. Of course, I wanted to try some alternatives to the kit. Here are my cards.
This card used the base with the circles. Stamp the flower randomly over the base in Gray Granite. Use two of the banners to stretch across the center. One will need to be trimmed a little. Stamp the leaves in Mint Macaron on the same color paper and fussy cut. Add behind the label. The twine is from the Nature's Twine pack. Just pull apart a length of the Mint Macaron and tie a bow. Add the dots from the kit.
Stamp three flowers in So Saffron on Whisper White and three leaves in Mint Macaron. Fussy cut all and add to the card. Cut one of the banners in half and place across the card. Put some of the twine behind the label. Add dots.
Stamp the flower on Whisper White in Calypso Coral and paint with Wink of Stella. Stamp the leaves in Mint Macaron. Fussy cut. Add a bow and dots. The sentiment is stamped on the tag in Calypso Coral. Trim the end.
Here is a video that shares all about making this kit.
Have you heard about the May kit?
Our very own Shelli has designed the kit for May. It's a card kit and it's fantastic. There just might be a new In Color surprise in there. The kit also works well with the upcoming Free as a Bird stamp set! Subscribe here before May 10th!
