Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #553 Balloon Bouquet

It's Thursday and time for the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. We have a color challenge this week.

We are using Gray Granite, So Saffron, and Mango Melody. For these challenges I often to go our designer papers to see what's available in our colors. I decided to go with it. I don't know if you have noticed the 6 x 6 papers that we have in each color family. They are a treasure!

The card base is Mango Melody that measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded in half. Next is a layer of Whisper White that is 4 1/8 x 5 3/8. Finally there is a layer is Gray Granite that measures 4 x 5 1/4. This paper is from the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper.

The balloons are punched out with the Balloon Bouquet Punch. The So Saffron balloons come from the Subtles 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper and the Mango Melody balloons are from the Brights 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. I think they look really festive and cute!

Using the Whisper White Baker's Twine, add strings to the balloons. Arrange these on your paper as you wish them to be. I then used snail to attach the balloons. The string ends were pulled around and taped to the back of the paper.

The happy birthday was cut from the Well Written Framelits. Use the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets to make them into stickers. So easy! I will say to be careful not to lose the dot of the letter i. Ask me how I know!

Add a few balloons inside the card. The saying is from the Birthday Cheer stamp set. Stamp in Gray Granite.

This is an easy card with not a lot of stamping. Don't you just love punching, though. I do!
