Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #552 Painted Seasons

Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #552. This week we have a sketch.

I'm using the Painted Seasons stamp set. This is part of the offerings for Sale-a-Bration. Start with a card base of Night of Navy. It measures 4 1/4 x 11. Score and fold at 5 1/2.

The next layer is Pool Party and measures 3 5/8 x 4 7/8. Run this through the Big Shot with the Climbing Vine Embossing Folder.

Use the Grapefruit Grove Painted Seasons designer paper for the rectangle near the bottom of the card. It is cut to 1 1/4 x 4. Add to the card. The Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon is wrapped around the card and taped in the front. It will be covered by the oval. The oval is cut from the Pool Party Painted Seasons paper using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

Stamp the flowers from the Painted Seasons stamp set on to Whisper White. Two of the flowers were inked in Pool Party. Then Grapefruit Grove ink was daubered on to the stamp around the edges. It's important to clean the stamp in between flowers. The other flower was inked in Pool Party and Night of Navy ink was daubered around the outside of the stamp. These flowers were fussy cut and added to the card on dimensionals. There is a set of framelits called the Four Seasons Framelits Dies available to purchase that coordinates with this set #150074, $28.

The saying for this card is from the Birthday Cheer stamp set. It's stamped on a piece of Whisper White that is 1" wide in Night of Navy. Use the Triple Banner Punch to notch the end.

Here is the inside of the card. This saying is from Birthday Cheer stamped in Night of Navy. The flower is Pool Party with Grapefruit Grove daubered around the outside of the stamp.
