Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper Fun Fold Card

Good to see you today.  I have a great little fun fold using the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper.  This card looks like it might be hard.  It's not.  I have a video for you at the end of this post. too!

Here's the front of the card.  And here it is opened up.

First of all cut a card base from Grapefruit Grove cardstock.  It should measure 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

The designer series paper is cut at 5 1/4 x 11 1/2.  Score the paper on the long side at 4, 6 3/4, and 9 1/2.  Look at the pattern of the paper.  If it has a special direction, place it upside down with the bottom near the top of the Simply Scored.  This will make sure that the design is correct for the card.

Fold the paper.  Orient your paper correctly.  Fold at the 4 inch mark back on the base and then just zig zag the folds.  Burnish with your Bone Folder.  Add the 4 x 5 1/4 section of the paper to the base of the card.

Now we will begin to decorate.  On a piece of Whisper White that is 2 1/4 x 3 3/4, stamp the A Little Note words in the center with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Our stamps are from the stamp set Butterfly Gala.  You will also need a piece of Grapefruit Grove that measures 2 1/2 x 4 1/4.  Cut rectangles using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits.  We'll use the 5th rectangle in for the Grapefruit Grove and the 6th rectangle for the Whisper White.  Layer the two.  When you get ready to adhere this panel, remember that part of it will stick out beyond the designer paper.  Only put snail where it will be covered.  You don't want to stick your card shut!  Decorate using the small and large butterflies from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper.  Punch these out with the Butterfly Duet Punch.  My video has a few hints and how to save your paper and make the most of the punching.

For the next layer or fold in, we will use the saying, Hello beautiful.  Stamp in the center of a 2 3/4" square of Whisper White.  Cut this out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  Use the second largest circle.  Adhere to the card making sure that the rectangles from the front cover it completely.  Add a few more butterflies.

For the base area, add a piece of Whisper White that measures 2 1/2 x 5.  The saying is from Butterfly Gala.  Add another large butterfly at the bottom.
