I'm so excited that we have Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron available in the Blends!  Here is my card.

Color Fusers Wonderful Romance card by Jo Anne Hewins

I'm using the Wonderful Romance bundle which has the Wonderful Romance stamp set and the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies.  They are a gorgeous pair!

My card base is Gray Granite measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.

The Mint Macaron layer is cut at 4 x 5 1/2.  Place the lattice look framelit about 3/4" from the left edge and run through the Big Shot.  I have a couple things to say about this.  First of all, watch this framelit from top to bottom.  It fits perfectly on the 5 1/2" layer.  It will leave a tiny edge at the top and bottom if careful.  Next, I did have trouble getting this to cut when crossways on the Big Shot.  Stampin' Up! has even told us this.  Make sure you have the die up and down and run it through several times.  That works like a charm.  Before attaching this layer to the card, stamp the leaves in Mint Macaron ramdomly over the solid areas.  I glued down this layer.  Put glue around the solid part and a little on the leaves that are part of the lattice.  I put a mini dimensional under each of the leaves that stick out.  I just wanted a little more dimension to the card.

For the saying, I used the Well Said stamp set.  I placed these words on the Stamparatus so they would be placed perfectly on the card.  Use a plate for one word and put the other word on the back of the plate.  Using a 2 1/2 x 2 3/4 piece of Gray Granite, stamp the words in Versamark and emboss with white embossing powder.  Now place the oval framelit over this so that the words are near the bottom and cut it out.  Run some of the Balmy Blue Organdy Ribbon from the Sale-a-Bration Combo Pack in and out of the cut outs.  My rough ends from this are up at the top of the oval and covered by the leaves and flowers.  The bow is attached at the bottom with a glue dot.  Add the sentiment with dimensionals.

The spray of leaves and flowers is stamped also using the Stamparatus.  I wanted to make sure it was stamped clearly and dark.  Use Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  I used the Light and Dark Balmy Blue and the Light and Dark Mint Macaron Blends to color it in.  Use your Gray Granite Stampin' Right Marker for the tiny leaves in the background.  Cut out with the coordinating framelit.  Add with dimensionals.  I did put a few glue dots where the spray covers the sentiment piece.

The saying on the inside of the card is from the Lasting Lily stamp set.  That's part of the Sale-a-Bration offerings.  I stamped it in Gray Granite.  I'm thinking that maybe the black ink would be better.  What do you think?  Stamp the leaves and little flowers in Memento ink and color in with the Blends.

I really hate to make a sympathy card, but you all know they are needed.  In fact, I be having a Sympathy Card Class near the end of March.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I appreciate it.  Don't forget to continue on the hop.  Next up is Bonnie.  You don't want to miss her!
