Hello to you today! The Timeless Tidings Kit is fantastic. I plan on having a post on it soon. Today I want to show you a card made using the Timeless Tidings stamp set.
I really like how it turned out. Let's talk about it.
The card base is Tranquil Tide measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.
The next layer is Watercolor Paper. It's cut at 4 x 5 1/4. Stamp the tree from Timeless Tidings randomly over the card. Use the Aqua Painter to blend the colors on the trees.
The Christmas tree is cut from Tranquil Tide. Cut the larger evergreen and the smaller tree with the cut outs. Start at the bottom of the tree and gently pull out the cut out sections. Glue the trees together matching the very top. Use the Shimmery White Paste to add snow to the cut outs and to the edges of the trees. Put some of the paste on a silicone mat and use the Paletter Knives to put the paste where you want it. Remember that this paste dries quickly so wash in soap and water the mat and knife as soon as you finish. Wait until the paste is dry to add the Red Rhinestones. Attach to the oval.
The saying is from Timeless Tidings. Cut a piece of Vellum that is 1 by 4 1/2. Stamp the saying in Real Red and quickly add Clear Emboss Powder to it. Heat. Wrap the vellum around the front of the card and tape it on the back.
Add the Watercolor Paper to the card base.
For the inside, stamp a row of the trees in Tranquil Tide along the bottom. The saying is stamped in Real Red and is from the Timeless Tidings stamp set.
The Shimmery Paste is a lot of fun to use. With Christmas coming, it's the perfect time of year to give it a try.
