Hello, hello! Today I have a great fall card for you. It uses the Detailed Leaves Thinlits.
I said before that fall is my favorite season! I love fall colors! I wanted to brighten up this card, so I used Granny Apple Green as my card base. It measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.
The Cajun Craze layer is 3 7/8 x 5 1/8.
The next layer is a wood look paper from the Country Lane Designer Series Paper. It is cut at 3 3/4 x 5.
Down near the bottom of this card I have more designer paper. It's also from the Country Lane DSP. One is 1/2 x 3 3/4 and the other is 1 x 3 3/4. I chose the papers that are Crushed Curry designs. I always line my layer on my grid paper and make sure that the paper is straight.
Cut the long thin leaf from Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, and Granny Apple Green card stock. You might want to use the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets to make these leaves like stickers.
The saying for this card is from Itty Bitty Greetings. It's stamped in Cajun Craze. Cut this out with the smallest oval from Stitched Shapes. Cut it out so that the saying is to the right of the oval. Put dimensionals on the back. Wrap the Gold Metallic Thread around four fingers 5 or 6 times, slide it off your fingers, and use the dimensionals to help anchor the thread. Attach to the card.
For the bow, use the Nature's Twine. Pull the smaller pieces of twine apart. I think I ended up dividing it into 3 or 4 parts. Put them all together again and tie into a bow. I feel like this allows the twine to lie down a little flatter. I used the Crumb Cake.
For the inside, add a Granny Apple Green leaf. The saying is from the Detailed with Love stamp set. Stamp in Cajun Craze.
I'm go glad that you joined me today. I love sharing what I love! I do LOVE it!
