Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge # 533 Four-Petal Flower Punch

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.  Challenge #533 uses Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, and Pumpkin Pie.

With Halloween so close, I thought those colors were perfect.  I decided to do something different with the colors.

The Four-Petal Punch and the Brights and Regals 6 x 6 Designer Series Papers are the stars of this card.  I admit that it does look a little busy.  I'm hoping you'll think that the Thick Whisper White base tones that down a little.

The Thick Whisper White base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2.  Score this and fold at 4 1/4.

The Pumpkin Pie banner across the card is 2 x 5 1/2.

There are three flowers.  Each one has 2 layers of Gorgeous Grape layers.  Join them off center with a dimensional.  Stamp the Granny Apple Green paper with the Four-Petal Flower punch and cut in half.  Glue each half so that it sticks out like leaves.  The center of the flowers is a 1/2 inch circle punched out.  Add with a dimensional.

After making the three flowers, arrange as you wish.  Attach each with a dimensional.

The saying is from the Varied Vases stamp set.  Stamp just under the Pumpkin Pie banner in Gorgeous Grape.

For the inside, make another flower.  This one only has one of the Gorgeous Grape layers.  Glue all of this.  The saying is from Varied Vases here, too.

This is an easy and quick card.  You could use lots of different designer papers to make variations.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I appreciate it.  I hope you'll check out creatwithconnieandmary.com for other ideas with these colors.
