NC Demo Blog Hop Inside out Outside the Box
September 30, 2018
Welcome to the NC Demo Blog Hop. You might have just come from Tamra's blog. She always has such wonderful ideas! This month we are using something that comes in a box.
I decided to use the September Paper Pumpkin. It's called Frights & Delights. It's a great kit! Here's the video from Stampin' Up! for this kit.
These are the treats made pretty closely to the directions provided.
This kit makes 24 treats! Wow!
Of course, it's always fun to make a few different things with a kit. So I have two cards that I made from the Frights & Delights kit.
For these cards, I used the Note Cards & Envelopes. They are on page 193 of the annual catalog. These cards measure 3 1/2 x 5.
First I used my Stamparatus to stamp the Spooky down the left side of the card in Pumpkin Pie ink. It's called hinge stamping. Add some of the bats and spiders randomly in Gray Granite. I also used the eeeek sticker. Just pull off and stick. The ribbon is the Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon. It's beautiful. Don't think it's just for Halloween. This ribbon can also look elegant. It does have some sparkle! Tie the ribbon around the card and knot in the center. Add the pumpkin and bat from the kit.
For this card, I used the kit stamp set for the background. I placed the stamps on one block.
I stamped off the Gray Granite. Stagger the stamping and fill in above and below where needed.
The patterned paper is from the Regals 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper and is Pumpkin Pie. It measures 3/4 x 5. The bird is from the stamp set Trick or Tweet. Stamp him in Gray Granite on Whisper White. Use the Daffodil Delight marker and the Pumpkin Pie marker to color in the bird. Punch with the 1 1/2" circle punch. Use the Layering Circles Framelits to make a scallop frame from Pumpkin Pie card stock. Add with dimensionals.
The saying is from Trick or Tweet. Stamp on a 1/2 inch white scrap. Notch the ends and add with dimensionals.
I hope these cards will help you look at the kit in a whole new way. I highly recommend a subscription to Paper Pumpkin. You can subscribe in my online store here.
is next. I wonder which thing in a box she will chose! You'll have to go find out. Thanks for joining me today!
