Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #527, May Flowers Framelits

Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge #527.  We are using the colors Poppy Parade. So Saffron, Pacific Point.

I used the May Flowers Framelits to make my card.

CCMC #526 by Jo Anne Hewins May Flowers Framelits

Start with a card base of Thick Whisper White cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2.  Score and fold at 4 1/4.  Cut a piece of Whisper White that measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  Run this through the Big Shot with the Polka Dots Basics Embossing Folder.  Adhere this layer to the front of the card.

Use the Pacific Point paper from the Brights 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.  This measures 1 3/4 x 5 1/2.  This goes about 2/3 down the page.

Cut the large flower from the May Flowers Framelits 2 times from the Poppy Parade.  Glue the first one down.  Wrinkle up the other one in your hand and then spread back out again.  Glue it to the center of the first one.  Play with it a little and get it to stick up here and there.

Cut the So Saffron stems three times and add around the flower.  Cut another and use one of the circles for the center of the flower.

The saying is from Itty Bitty Greetings in Poppy Parade.

The inside uses a saying from Tropical Chic in Pacific Point.  Cut another flower and center.
