A Peaceful Noel Christmas

Hello! Hello! Glad to see you today. I'm using the Peaceful Noel stamp set. Well, to be honest, I'm also using Winter Woods and Rooted in Nature. These stamp sets work so well together! First of all, let me show you the card. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that each of these sets come in a bundle!

The Peaceful Noel set is full of opportunities for double stamping. You can tell there are places where you first have the outline and then fill in the insides. It's photopolymer, so it's easy! You'll see that I was a little off in a few places. I still think it looks great! Don't get hung up on the little things. Your card is made by hand!!!

Start with the card base of Tranquil Tide measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. Fold at 4 1/4.

The Whisper White layer is 4 x 5 1/4.

I started with the tree slice. This is in the Rooted in Nature stamp set. Stamp on Whisper White in Early Espresso. Fussy cut this.

The saying is from the Winter Woods stamp set. Stamp this on white in Real Red. Yes, you have to cut this out by hand. Glue to the tree slice.

Now I used the tree slice to help me determine where to stamp all of the plants. I laid it where I wanted it and then used a pencil to draw in an outline on the white layer. This will be covered. You just need something to give you an idea where to stamp.

Now stamp! Use whatever plants you want and put them where you want. I started with the red berries and placed them at three points. Then I went to the dark leaves. I put 5 of those around. It's good to use odd numbers. Then I filled in from there. Colors used were Tranquil Tide, Real Red, Early Espresso, Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive. For the evergreen sprigs, I simply added some onto each other.

At the end, I felt the card still needed a little something. I added the three dots here and there. Perfect! I do know they are supposed to be red berries.

Add the tree slice with dimensionals and a Real Red Mixed Satin Ribbon bow with a glue dot.
