From time to time, I share swap cards from the Southern Belles. This is a local group of demonstrators who like to meet once a month to talk Stampin' Up! and just share and laugh together. If you live near Hickory, NC and would like to be part of this group, let me know. Many in the group are also part of my Luv 2 Create team. Stampers love to get together! I made a baby card using the Sweet Baby bundle. If you would like to see it, go here. Thank you!
This card is by Martha. Martha shared that she was inspired by a card on Pinterest. However, went she completed her card, it did not look like the original at all. Doesn't that happen a lot. Parts of cards we see on Pinterest spark an idea and off we go. I love that! This card uses the Rooted in Nature stamp set. I've said it many times, I love green!
This card was made by Donna. It was her first time joining with our group. I think some times, first timers are a little anxious about the swap. Isn't this beautiful! This card also uses the Rooted in Nature stamp set. Donna did give credit to Pinterest.
This card was made by Twila. I love it! Twila gave me a paper with all of the information about the card. I lost it. My work area is a disaster. I did look through Pinterest and found a very similar card by Rachel Tessman. Twila, I apologize. You went to the extra trouble to help me out. If I am incorrect, please comment and I will change this. The Springtime Impressions Thinlits were used. I'm thinking Twila used the new Big Shot Embossing Mat.
Tina made this card. She used a fold that Patty Bennett and Cindee Wilkinson have been making. Tina used the Beautiful You stamp set. The background is made with the Marbled Background stamp. Lovely card, Tina.
Patti made this card. A lot of work went into making it for sure. Patti used the Hold on to Hope stamp set and the Cross of Hope Framelits. The designer series paper is from Garden Impressions.
Cheryl is also a newcomer to the group. We are so happy she found us. Cheryl used the Gatefold Blossoms Framelits and the Bouquet Blooms stamp set. Yes, they come as a bundle! I love that our swaps allow us to see products we don't own. I love seeing this bundle.
So that's it for this month. Luckily, I don't have a wait a month to see most of these ladies! Keep stamping!
During the month of August, you get a $5 coupon for every $50 you spend. Use the coupons in September. That's when the new Holiday catalog goes live! It does go live on September 5th. You can get a discount on new stuff! Stampin' Up! will send you an email. Don't lose the code!
