Healing Hugs Garden Impressions
August 17, 2018
I'm so glad you have joined me today! I have an easy card for you using the Garden Impressions 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper and the Healing Hugs stamp set. I really love this stamp set. It's part of Stampin' Up!'s new Distinktive stamps that have so much detail to them. They are so easy to make something that does not look easy!
Start the card with a base of Shaded Spruce cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. Fold at 4 1/4. The next layer is Pacific Point measuring 3 3/4 x 5. The Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper is 3 5/8 x 4 7/8.
Using the Stitched Shapes Framelits, cut the largest oval from Whisper White. Stamp hello at the top in Shaded Spruce. This stamp is from the Varied Vases stamp set.
The ribbon for this card is brand new in the Holiday catalog. It's called Braided Linen Trim. Run a length of the ribbon across the Pacific Point layer and tape on the back. Make a bow to add in the center after you've added the leaves. Add with a glue dot.
Stamp the rose. I added Balmy Blue ink over the stamp and then added some Pacific Point ink to the stamp with a dauber. It's so pretty! Fussy cut and add to the oval with dimensionals.
I used four of the leaves. You must cut these out, too. Add around the bottom of the flower. Some are glued and some are added with dimensionals.
For the inside, the saying is from Varied Vases in Shaded Spruce. I did stamp another flower and cut it out as above. I used the cut out to help me know where to stamp the leaves. Glue down the flower.
I feel so blessed that you have read my blog today. Thank you. I do love to share. Have you subscribed to my Tuesday Tidbits newsletter? Go to the top of the post to subscribe.
