Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge # 517, Bike Ride

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. Today we have a color challenge for you. We are using Blueberry Bushel, Gray Granite, and Mango Melody.

And this is the card I made using these colors.

I have used the Bike Ride stamp set and coordinating Build a Bike Framelits Dies.

Start with a card base of Mango Melody measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4. Stamp on this with dots stamp from Gallery Grunge. Stamp off Mango Melody.

The Blueberry Bushel layer is 3 3/4 x 5. The Gray Granite layer is 3 5/8 x 4 7/8. This tiny check is from the Best Route Designer Series Paper. There is a bike piece of the paper down the side measuring 1 x 3 3/4. The Best Route paper is one of those that is on sale buy 3, get one free during July.

Stamp the parts of the bike and cut out using the Build a Bike Framelits using Blueberry Bushel for the wheels and Mango Melody for the frame of the bike. I stamped in the seat, pedal, and grips with Blueberry Bushel. The strings added at the end of the handle bars were cut from Blueberry Bushel card stock. Attach the frame of the bike to the wheels and then attach the whole bike with dimensionals. Glue down the handle bar strings.

The sentiment is from the Lemon Zest stamp set. Stamp in blue on Whisper White and trim around it. Add with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, stamp the dots from Gallery Grunge, stamping off first. Add another 1 inch strip of the bike patterned paper and a 1/4 inch strip of Mango Melody card stock. The words are stamped in blue and are from the Lemon Zest stamp set.
