Color Fusers Blog Hop for July of 2018

Welcome to the July blog hop for the Color Fusers. This month we are using the colors Blueberry Bushel, Poppy Parade, Whisper White, and Balmy Blue. Aren't you loving these new colors! These colors are great for the Fourth of July, but I did not make a patriotic card. I chose to use the Broadway Birthday Bundle. Here is my card.

I like this somewhat simple use of the bundle. Here are the details for the project.

The card base is Poppy Parade cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4. The Whisper White layer is 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 and the Balmy Blue layer is 3 3/4 x 5. Stamp the heart of stars from the Little Twinkle stamp set to make a background on the Balmy Blue layer. Stamp in the same color but stamp off first.

Cut the frame piece from the Broadway Lights Framelits in the Blueberry Bushel. I added some thin strips of Whisper White to the back of the frame to cover the holes. Just add some dots of glue between the holes. Lay the frame down on your background and decide where you would like it to be. Remove and stamp the MAKE A in Blueberry Bushel just above. Glue down the frame.

The word WISH is cut in Poppy Parade. Be careful not to lose the dot of the I. Add pieces of the Foam Adhesive Strips to the back of the word and place within the frame.

Stamp the birthday hats in Blueberry Bushel and Poppy Parade. Cut these out with the framelits. Glue down or add with dimensionals. Note that the adhesive strips are thicker than the dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, the sentiment and the hats are from the Broadway Birthday stamp set. I did set the words up on the Stamparatus to ensure good stamping since there were solid images.

This is a pretty easy card to make. I hope you will try it. The Broadway Birthday Bundle is great for birthdays. Can you think of other uses for it? Let me know!
