Gotta Love the Large Number Framelits
April 27, 2018
I must say that I was in shock when I saw the Large Number Framelits on the Last Chance list. Moan! So I decided that I must use them one last time. I'll just be honest, these framelits will remain in my collection. They are so useful. You really don't want to miss out! Here is the card I made.
I like how this card turned out! I used the Tutti Frutti Designer Series Paper stack. This paper is near to my heart. I'm sad that it is also going away.
The card base is Thick Whipser White measuring 4 1/4 x 11. Score this at 5 1/2 and use your Bone Folder to burnish the fold. Use the black and white stripe paper to cover the entire front of the card. Cut the paper 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
Pick out the pieces of patterned paper you want to use and cut out the numbers using the Large Numbers Framelits and the Big Shot. I used the numbers 0 through 8. Glue these to your card in any way that you please. I chose to use no real order and to hang a few off the sides of the card. Just turn the card over and trim those pieces sticking out right off.
I used the Labeler Alphabet stamp set to make my greeting for the front of the card. I wanted this to be a birthday card and decided this would be perfect for most any adult, especially my friends. Sorry, friends! Stamp the words and then trim around them. Attach with dimensionals.
Here's the inside of the card. I used the Stlyized Birthday stamp. It's also going away! Punch a large balloon with the Balloon Bouquet punch from more of the Tutti Frutti paper and add an Linen Thread string. I used a 1/2 inch piece of the striped paper along the bottom. It was left over from something. Why not use it!
This is a great card to use up some of those scraps. Maybe you don't keep all of the itty bitties like me. It's so hard to throw them away.
The Large Numbers Framelits do coordinate with the Large Letters Framelits. If you have the letters, you certainly need the numbers! Check out the Last Chance list here.
