Lots of Lavender for Sale-a-Bration

It's Sale-a-Bration time.  Lots of Lavender is one of the free choices with a $50 dollar puchase.  This is a great set.  It has stamps to color in the main design, but to me it screams, "Use the new Blends!"

I also used one of the new products from the Occasions catalog, the Shimmery White Embossing Paste.

Start with a Rich Razzleberry card base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.

The Whisper White layer is 3 5/8 x 4 7/8.

The Old Olive layer is 3 1/2 x 4 3/4.  Use the Pattern Party Decorative Masks on page 201 of the Annual catalog.  The shimmery paste is just beautiful.  Place the mask over the Old Olive paper.  Use the Palette Knives to spread a thin layer over the mask.  I was not that careful to get the corners of the paper.  Be sure to wash off the mask and knife quickly so the paste does not dry on them.  Close the lid to the paste when not in use.  The paste does dry quickly.

Use the Layering Ovals to cut the olive paper.  I wanted to make an eclipse look so I cut 2 ovals one inside the other.  Lay the oval ring down inside the hole made.  Make sure that you line up the pattern so that it is continuous.  Adhere the inside oval.  Use the Foam Adhesive Strips around the oval ring and then put it back in place.

Stamp the large flower bunch and 2 of the smaller flowers on Shimmery White Card Stock.  Use Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Color these in using the light and dark Rich Razzleberry Blends and the light and dark Old Olive Blends.  Use the dark Pink Pirouette for the bow.  Yes, you do have to fussy cut these!  Don't make it so hard.  Leave white paper showing all around.  Use Fast Fuse to put down the smaller flowers.  I used bits of the foam adhesive to add the large piece.  I wanted it to be the same height as the oval.

The sentiment is from the Petal Palette stamp set.  Stamp it in Rich Razzleberry on a shimmery white scrap and punch out with the Classic Label Punch.

Lots of Lavender card

At first, I felt like the card was a little too busy.  It has grown on me.  What do you think?  I wish you could see just how shimmery that paste really is.  In fact, I did add some Wink of Stella to the largest flower piece.

Thanks so much for joining me today.  I enjoy sharing my creations with you.  I hope you will come back!

My product list is below.  Enjoy your day!

I really like this card. Looks like a god for class.

Thanks, Nancy. Not sure about class. I might come up with something a little different using the same set.
