Computer Problems
Sweet Little Something Bunny Swap

I Just Love You

I've been MIA this week.  I had keyboard problems on my laptop and I am technology challenged.  Today I found out that I could have just plugged in another keyboard for a temporary fix.  So I was off to Walmart.  Since my tech guy said just plug it in and showed me where, I felt I should get one with a cord.  They only had one and it was $10.99.  It works.  Meanwhile the keyboard cannot be resurected.  It seems that for the thin, light laptops, the keyboards are fused inside so that screws are not needed.  So, I think a new computer is in my near future.  I'm going for a little more bulk!  Enough said.  I will get through this.

My card for today uses the Petal Palette stamp set in the Occasions catalog.

Petal Palette and Tutti Frutti DSP

Begin with a card base of Thick Whisper White measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded at 4 1/4.

There is a layer of Cherry Cobbler card stock 3 3/4 x 5.

The patterned paper is from the Tutti Frutti 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper Stack.  It is cut at 3 5/8 x 4 7/8.  I just love that black and white stripe!

The lattice piece is cut from the Petals & More Thinlits Dies out of Old Olive card stock.  For me, the easiest way to adhere this is to add a dab of the Multipurpose Liquid Glue on your Silicone Craft Sheet.  Use part of a Stamping Sponge to spread the glue on the back of the lattice.  Be careful not to move this around on the silicone mat so you don't get glue on the front.

The flowers are stamped in Memento Black on Whisper White.  Color with the Light and Dark Old Olive Blends and the Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler Blends.  This stamp is part of the Petal Palette stamp set.  Cut this out with the Petals & More dies.  Adhere the flowers with dimensionals.

The bird is also stamped on Whisper White with Memento Black.  Use the dies to cut it out.  Glue down.

Petal Palette Tutti Frutti close up

The sentiment is stamped on a 1/2 inch scrap.  I used the Basic Black marker and my Cherry Cobbler marker to color in the words.  I wanted the LOVE to be in cobbler.  I did use my Stamperatus to make sure that the sentiment would be dark wnough.  Notch the ends of the paper.  Adhere with dimensionals.

Petal Palette Tutti Frutti inside

The inside of the card is all Petal Palette.  The designer paper at the bottom is 3/4 x 5 1/2.  The flower is stamped on white scrap and cut with the thinlit dies.

Petal Palette Tutti Frutti

The Petal Palette stamp set is wonderful.  There are so many great sayings included!

Thanks so much for reading my blog today.  After several days off, I can say that I really missed writing my posts.  Cross your fingers for technology!  I would love to be your demonstrator.  I actually need your orders and I promise to treat you right!  Let me know if you need any catalogs.  See you next time!
