NC Demo Blog Hop: What's New?
December 31, 2017
Welcome to the NC Demo Blog Hop for December. It's a great way to end the year! It's a great way to begin the year, too, if you are seeing this in 2018! We are exploring "What's New!" this time. There is plenty that's new with the Sale-a-Bration brochure and the Occasions catalog going live on January 3rd. Life is so good!
You are sure to see lots of great ideas for new product on this hop. I'm so glad you are here. So, here is my card.
There is so much new stuff on this card. Let me get right to the details.
Start with a card base of Bermuda Bay cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4.
The layer of Lemon Lime Twist is 3 3/4 x 5.
The next layer is 3 5/8 x 4 7/8. This paper comes from the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-Bration brochure. During Sale-a-Bration you can choose a free item from the brochure for every $50 you spend.
I began with a frame cut from the Layering Square Framelits. This paper is from the Tutti Frutti 6 x 6 Paper Stack. It's in the Occasions catalog. Adhere to the card with Foam Adhesive Strips.
The panda is from the Sale-a-Bration set Party Pandas. It's fantastic! I will tell you that I was one of the fortunate L2L Team members that got to order the Stamperatus early. I used it to stamp the panda with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. It's often hard to get a good stamped image with solid areas on stamps. I did stamp this several times so it is perfect. Fussy cut the panda. I colored in the dots on the birthday hat with my Bermuda Bay Stampin' Write Marker (Brights). I wanted the panda the same height at the frame, so he is also on Foam Adhesive Strips.
Do you see the birthday blowers? Right now I just can't think of what they are called. These are from an new Occasions set called Picture Perfect Birthday. You have 3 stamps to get this. You will have to fussy cut. They are just so cute! These are also on the foam strips. I used Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, and Lemon Lime Twist.
The celebrate is from a Sale-a-Bration stamp set called Amazing You. It's stamped in Melon Mambo and trimmed close.
The work YOU is from a new thinlit Sale-a-Bration die. It's called the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies. Yes, I said Sale-a-Bration. This year you can get a couple of items that are a little more complex by spending $100. This thinlit set is one of them. It's also going to be in the Annual catalog in June!
So you see, this card is filled to overflowing with new stuff!
Here is the inside of the card. There is another adorable panda. The sentiment is from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set.
This card was so much fun to make. There are a lot of steps, but it's so worth it. I think anyone would love this birthday card.
Thanks so much for giving me part of your day. You don't want to miss any of the great ideas from our hop! Please continue! Our list is below.

Jo Anne, I adore your little panda cards! Now I want that set from the SAB catalog as well! What a great idea to use the Stamparatus to get a perfectly stamped solid image! I'm going to put that in my little box of tricks to share! Thank you so much for participating in our hop each month. I always love to see your posts! Happy New Year!
