Heartfelt Blooms CASE

Today I have a card using the Sale-a-Bration stamp set Heartfelt Blooms.  This is a CASE card, Copy and Share Everything.  I cased this from page 29 of Stampin' Success Magazine.  This is a publication sent to demonstrators.  Of course I made a few changes.  Here is my card.

Heartfeft Blooms CASE

Start with a base of Thick Whisper White card stock measuring 4 1/4 x 11.  Score at 5 1/2 and fold.  We will be making this card in my January classes.  I'll tell you how I made the card and then I'll tell you how we will make the card in class.  Do you ever decide after the fact that there is a better way?

Stamp the image in Archival Basic Black ink and allow to dry.  Using a Blender Pen and the ink in the lid of the pad, color the flowers with Powder Pink, the center of the flower with So Saffron, and the leaves with Pear Pizzazz.  This is a little time consuming.

For class, we will stamp the image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  We'll color with Blends.  We will use the Light Pink Pirouette for the flowers, Light Daffodil Delight for the flower center, and Light Old Olive for the leaves.  I know this will go much quicker and maybe even look better!

The patterned paper is from the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper.  It measures 2 1/4 x 4 1/4.  Glue to the bottom of the card front.

The ribbon is the 1/4 inch White Organza Ribbon from the Occasions catalog.  Just run it around the card and tie in a bow on front.

The sentiment is stamped on a 1 x 2 3/4 inch piece of Powder Pink and notched with the Triple Banner Punch.

For class, we'll use Pink Pirouette instead of Powder Pink.

Hearfelt Blooms CASE card

This is an easy card and uses only one stamp set, the Heartfelt Blooms Sale-a-Bration set.  I featured another card with this set here.  Check it out.  You'll find that this is a great stamp set!

The Occasions catalog and the Sale-a-Bration brochure both go live on January 3rd.  It truly is the best time of year for Stampin' Up!  Do you need catalogs?  If you don't already have a demonstrator, I would be happy to send them to you.  Just let me know!

Thanks for including me in your day today.  If you want to follow me on Pinterest, go here.  Go here to follow my Facebook business page.  Thanks so much!

Love it! Will be doing this with my group today! Thanks!

Thanks. I hope it goes well. I did try it with blends. Stamp in Memento Black. It does better if you don't make the image real dark.

Beautiful card Jo Anne!
