I decided to go simple this month.  I'm using the Host Stamp Set In the City.

Color Fusers In the City October

I needed a card for a new neighbor so I thought I would use this challenge to make one.  At first, the In the City stamp set may be a little intimidating.  There are just so many small pieces.  That's also the beauty of the set.  You can almost do anything with it!

The card base is Fresh Fig.  It measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4 and folded.

The next layer is Lemon Lime Twist.  This is cut 3 1/2 x 4 3/4.  The Whisper White layer is 3 3/8 x 4 5/8.

The outline for everything is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  The set is photopolymer, but I did have a little problem matching the color to the building.  I ended up stamping the buildings again, fussy cutting, and placing on top of the buildings with dimensionals.  I also cut out a few trees and glued them down to overlap.  One tree is on dimensionals.

It's a little hard to tell what some of the stamps are supposed to be.  Maybe that's just me.  There are stamps to color in almost every outline stamp, even the roof of the buildings.

So this card ends up with a neighborhood on the front.  Everything you see is from the In the City stamp set.  I think my new neighbors will like it.  I plan to include brownies!

In the City Color Fusers inside

I always like to include the inside of my cards.  I included a few more of the buildings.  If you look closely, not too close, please, you can see that I did have some trouble matching the color pieces.  I still think it looks fine.

In the City

So I managed to use all of the colors in our fuse today just by stamping.  I must admit that I love how the colors came together.  They might even look a little like our neighborhood in the fall!

I'm so glad that you came by my blog today.  Use the buttons to help you navigate the hop!  My Product List is at the end.
