Wood Textures and Leaves
September 22, 2017
The Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack is pretty neat. I used it for the card I am sharing today.
The card base is Early Espresso measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4. The Very Vanilla layer is 3 3/4 x 5. The log paper is cut at 3 5/8 x 4 7/8.
The Lemon Lime Twist Finely Woven Ribbon was added to the log/vanilla layer. The bow was made using a bow maker and glue dotted after the circle and leaves were added.
The Stitched Shapes Framelits were used to cut a Very Vanilla circle.
The Seasonal Layers Thinlits were used to cut a Lemon Lime Twist leaf and an Early Espresso leaf.
The acorn was stamped, the bottom in Crumb Cake and the top in Early Espresso, from the Painted Harvest stamp set. It has to be cut out by hand. Add with a dimensional.
The hello is from the At Home with You stamp set.
The inside of the card uses a sentiment from the Count My Blessings stamp set. A few more acorns were stamped on the inside, too.
Using designer paper can make a card fast and relatively easy to make. I made this card for someone special who is going through a rough time. I hope he liked it. I do have a hard time making cards that are masculine.
Fall is my favorite time of year. I can't wait for the weather to be a little cooler.
