Large Letter Thinlits, Vintage Leaves, and Fall

I admit it.  I have coveted the Large Letter Framelits since they came out.  I had learned to live without them, until recently.  Then all of these great samples starting showing up using the eclipse technique.  I fell in love all over again.  Now, I can proudly say that I am the owner of the Large Letter Framelits.  I admit this also.  I'm a little obsessed with Stampin' Up!  With all that said, and admitted, here is my card.

Vintage Leaves and Large Letters

We'll be making this card in our October class.

The card base is Soft Suede cut 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4.

The Peekaboo Peach layer is 3 3/4 x 5 and the Very Vanilla layer is 3 5/8 x 4 7/8.

Stamp the leaves from Vintage Leaves in Peekaboo Peach, So Saffron, and Lemon Lime Twist.

Using the Large Letters Framlits, cut out the word FALL.  You will need to cut the FAL first making sure you leave enough room for the final L.  Don't lose the little inside for the A.  When cutting the final L, make sure that you line it up with the rest of the FAL. Notice where the cut line is on the framelit and use that to help you.

Glue the vanilla layer down to the peach layer.

For the A.  Just put the letter down in its place.  Use that to help you know where to adhere that little inside of the letter.  Glue it in place.

Add the Foam Adhesive Strip to the back of the letters.  Put them in the open places left for them.

I haven't used the Corrugated Elements in the annual catalog so I thought I would use them here.  Add the tag and a bow of the Linen Thread.  The sentiment is from At Home with You and is stamped in Soft Suede and trimmed.  Add with glue dots.

Vintage Leaves inside

Just add some additional leaves for the inside of the card.  The sentiment here is from Colorful Seasons.

Vintage Leaves

I'm so glad I have those letters.  They are expensive.  I'll let you in on a little secret. With an order of $450 you get to buy an item at half price!  That's how I got them! Stampin' Up! has some great perks!

Thanks for stopping by today.  I'm so glad that you did.  If you need some SU supplies, I'll be glad to help you at my online store.  Click on an item in the Product List and it will take you there!
