A Little Christmas Painted Harvest

Have you noticed the Season of Glitz Mini Bows on page 21 of the Holiday catalog?  I must say that I looked right over them.  I was working on a challenge by my team leader Patty Bennett and it required using the bows.  I bit the bullet and bought them just to complete that challenge.  When they came, they are just so cute!  This is the project that I made.

Painted Harvest wreath treat

These treat holders are nothing new.  Use the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper to make them.  You will need a 6 x 6 piece.  That means you can get 4 holders from a sheet of 12 x 12 paper.  If you want the directions, you can get them here from a post I made earlier.

The tag on the front of the holder is made with the Painted Harvest stamp set.  I wish I could take credit for this idea.  It is not original.  I do not know to whom to give credit.  Stamp the wreath in Old Olive for the larger stamp and Always Artichoke for the smaller stamp. The dots on the wreath are stamped in Berry Burst.  That color most closely matches the bows.  The Merry in the center comes from the Merry Cafe stamp set.  All is stamped on Whisper White card stock.

Cut this out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and adhere to the holder with dimensionals.  Add the bow.  These have a sticker on the back just like the larger bows you might use on a regular package.

Of course Christmas candies are not available now.  These holders are perfect for the Ghirardelli chocolate squares.  I choose the Dark Cholcolate Raspberry.  The colors were close to the color of the bow.

Painted Harvest treats with candy

I recently made these for a tiny seat gift at a Luv 2 Create team meeting.  They are quick and cute!  I love them with the music patterned paper.

Thanks for stopping by today.  The Holiday catalog goes lives on Friday, September 1st!  It's an exciting time in the Stampin' Up! world.  I'd love to be your demonstrator if you don't already have one.  If you live in the Conover, NC area, I also have card classes monthly at my home.  These are the cards we'll be making on September 7th, 8th, or 11th.

September 2017

We make 5 cards at each class.  Let me know if you are interested and I'll let you know all the details.  Stampers make great friends!
