Embellished Ornaments Christmas Card

I get so excited about the Holiday catalog that I sometimes forget about the annual Stampin' Up! catalog.  I'm so glad they included Christmas stamp sets in the annual catalog.  It lets you get a jump on the season.  Here's a simple card using the Embellished Ornaments stamp set and the coordinating Delicate Ornament Thinlit Dies.

Embellished orn 1

This was a favorite at my classes last week.  It's elegant without being too involved.  I did have some help from Pinterest on this one.  There are many that are very close. This card used the Pine Bough Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  That's the elegant touch.  For the front of the card, I put the paper in the embossing folder side ways.  It's hard to see on this picture, but maybe it helps.

Embellished orn 4

I stamped the ornament in Cherry Cobbler and cut it out with the coordinating thinlit. Glue it onto the card.  I used the Golf Foil Sheets for the decoration and the ornament topper.  Embellish with pearls in the center and a bow of gold twine from the Baker's Twine Trio Pack.  All that's left is the sentiment from the same set and a few sparkles from the Metallics Sequin Assortment.

Embellished orn 2

Do you ever think about embossing the inside of the card?  This time I embossed in the folder with the paper turned in the usual way.  Add the sentiment and the inside is done.  This sentiment is also from the Embellished Ornaments stamp set.

Embellished orn 3

So, there you have it.  I must tell you that the gold embellishment in the center of the card goes a certain way on there to cover the white lines.  It's not too hard to figure out.  If you need a pretty, but easy card, this one fits the bill.
