A Hershey Bar for Someone Special
Rose Wonder is Wonderful!

Winter Outside. It's Spring Inside!

The biggest snow storm of the season is here, but I'm thinking spring inside.  I've been wanting to experiment with the Balloon Builders set, and I finally found the time.  I thought flowers and I had seen a bee in the Occasions catalog.  I put the two together.

The only limit to this set would be the imagination!  I began with a Cherry Cobbler cardstock base measuring 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4.  I used the Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper for the front of the card measuring 4 X 5 1/4.  I did use the Project Life Corner punch on the base of the card and the patterned paper.  The center piece is Whisper White cardstock cut using the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits Dies.  I added another piece of patterned paper down the center measuring 2 1/4 X 4.  The flowers are stamped in Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler ink with Crushed Curry used for the center.  The bee is stamped in Crushed Curry and Memento Black.  It was lots of fun!  The "Oh, Hello" sentiment is from the free Sale-a-Bration stamp set Honeycomb Happiness.  I stamped it with Memento Black on Whisper White and punched with the Word Window punch.  I punched some Cherry Cobbler cardstock with the Washi Label punch and adhered the words to it.  The "my friend" is from the And Many More stamp set.  I stamped the words in black on white and cut around the words.  I glued them to Cherry Cobbler and then cut out a frame around them.  The front panel is put on with dimensionals.

I had practiced my flowers and bee and I decided I couldn't let them go to waste.  I put them on the inside of the card after a little fussy cutting.  The saying is from  Honeycomb Happiness.

Now, what other objects can we make with the Balloon Builders set?  I just need more time to play!
