Mickey or Minnie? It's Disney today!
January 29, 2016
I have a good friend who plans Disney trips. She loves to give her customers handmade cards as a thank you. She orders those cards from me. I'm working or an order for her and I thought I would share the cards I am making. I pin a lot of cards with a Disney theme and use them to copy or for inspiration. I search Pinterest for Stampin' Up Disney. Give it a try if this is something you like. I did have one card that was completely my creation.
This card has a Real Red base. The Basic Black layer is cut at 4 X 5 1/4. The top of the card is Whisper White measuring 3 3/8 X 3 7/8. The bottom is cut from the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack and is 1 3/4 X 3 7/8. The thin black strip is 1/8 X 4. The Balloon Builders set was used to make the Mickey balloons. I used the largest balloon shape and added the largest circle for the ears. On the base of the white cardstock, I stamped the balloons in Real Red and Daffodil Delight. The Memento Black balloons were stamped on scrap white cardstock and cut out with my paper snips. I added linen thread and put the balloons on the base with dimensionals. The sentiment is from the stamp set Rose Wonder. That set has such great sentiments!
I'll share the other Disney cards that I made.
And here is a picture of all of the cards. My friend will get 2 or each design.
Thanks so much for visiting me today. I have something special coming up for my next post. The North Carolina Stampin' Up! Demonstrators are having their very first blog hop. Wish us luck on the mechanics of it all. Maybe I should say, wish ME luck. It all goes live Sunday, January 31st at 8:00 pm EST. This will take the place of my Monday post. Check back!
