The Sky is the Limit Sneak Peak
December 30, 2015
Sale-a-Bration is coming on January 5th. Do you have the Sale-a-Bration brochure? Oh, you need it. Let me know if I can help you out. Today I'll be sharing a card that I cased from the Sale-a-Bration brochure on page 17 using The Sky is the Limit stamp set.
Of course I had to change it a bit. I started out with a card base of Tip Top Taupe cut at 11 X 4 1/4 and scored at 5 1/2. I randomly stamped the larger cloud from The Sky is the Limit stamp set in Tip Top Taupe. Then using the Tree Builder punched, I punched 3 clouds out of the Sweet L'il Things Designer Series Paper and 2 clouds out of Vellum card stock. I taped the vellum pieces in small strategic places and then covered the taped area with the other clouds. They were adhered with dimensionals. I stamped the airplane on a piece of Very Vanilla using Tip Top Taupe. I fussy cut it out. Then I used the Flower Fair framelit dies to cut out the blades of the airplane. I attached the blades using the mini brads.
I stamped the valentine smoke. I place the airplane on the card to figure out where it should go, stamped, and then adhered the airplane using dimensionals. Add the sentiment and you are done. This set is a must have and you can get it free with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration! Use our catalog samples as inspiration for your card making. This card will be part of my January card classes on January 14th at 1:00 or 15th at 6:00. Come join us!
