Balloon Builders Sneak Peak

I've been working on making projects for upcoming classes.  I love to do this!  I love to have classes and share Stampin' Up's new products and techniques!  Speaking of new products, the new Occasions catalog and the Sale-a-Bration brochure go live next week on January 5th.  It's all so exciting!  Do you have catalogs?  You need catalogs!  I have catalogs!  I am having an Open House on Saturday, January 2nd from 1 to 4.  Come by, make projects, visit, see new products, snack, visit, maybe win a door prize, get catalogs, and visit.  Just let me know you are coming so I'll have supplies ready for you.

The card I'm going to share with you is for a new class I'm starting.  It's a beginner card class. In it, we'll make 3 cards for $10.  I'll help and guide you along the way so can get get a taste of stamping.  You will love it, believe me!  The class will be free for you if you make a catalog order of $25 or more before shipping or tax.  The first class will be on Saturday, January 16th from 10 until 12 noon.  Contact me to sign up if you live in the Conover area of North Carolina.

Balloon Builders

I started with a card base of Blushing Bride.  I used Whisper White for the front of the card cut at 4 X 5 1/4.  I stamped the balloon images and their strings using Blushing Bride and Pool Party ink.  Near the bottom I put a panel of Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper measuring 4 X 1 1/2 and adhered to a base of Blushing Bride cardstock measuring 4 X 1 3/4.  I added a little banner of Whisper White 1 X 2 3/4 and notched using the hexagon punch.  The sentiment comes from the new Sale-a-bration set called Perfect Pairings.  The Blushing Bride ribbon is the 1/4 inch cotton ribbon.

Balloon Builders inside

Here's the inside of the card.  We always make the inside of our cards.  They just aren't finished without the inside.  This saying also uses the Perfect Pairings set.  Notice the line over the saying?  Yes, that is a mistake.  I decided to just leave it.  Since it's a beginner class, I thought it would be a teachable moment.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read my post today.  See you on Wednesday!
