My name is Jo Anne Hewins and I'm from North Carolina in the United States.  I'm so happy you have joined us on the hop.  I know you'll get lots of great ideas to share the love.

Sure Do Love You Bunny

I am using two new stamp sets from the Occasions catalog, Sure Do Love You and Sweet Little Something.  I'm going to be a grandmother for the first time coming in April.  I thought I needed that bunny.

For this card, begin with a base of Real Red measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4.  The Early Espresso layer is 4 x 5 1/4.  The Whisper White layer is 3 7/8 x 5 1/8.

Stamp the hearts from Sure Do Love You randomly on the white layer in Real Red.  There are 3 different hearts.  I used them all.

The patterned heart uses the Tutti Frutti 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.  The largest curvy heart from the Sweet and Sassy Framelits Dies was used to cut it.

Those bunnies are so cute, but it is a three step stamp.  I do have the Stamperatus and I used it for the bunny.  I won't kid you.  It was hard to line up all of the layers.  Thank goodness I could use 3 of the plate surfaces.  If you don't have the Stamperatus, you will want it!  If you get these layers all set up for the bunny, you will want to make lots of them before you put them away.  That's what I did so my bunnies were already made!  Use Crumb Cake for the almost solid stamp, Soft Suede for the middle one, and Early Espresso for the most detailed stamp.  You do have to fussy cut the bunnies.  Check out the card I made earlier here.  Be sure you come back!

The 1/8 inch Real Red Ribbon from the Holiday catalog is carried over.  This is what I used for the bows for the bunnies.

The sign is from the Sure Do Love You stamp set.  Cut it out with the Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies.  Use dimensionals to attach it.

Sure Do Love You inside

The inside of the card is all part of the Sure Do Love You bundle.  The little hearts were stamped on scrap paper, cut out and attached inside the card.  I did this because I already had them made.  You can certainly stamp them right of the paper.  Again, I used the Stamperatus to make sure that the large heart and the sentiment would be correctly placed.

Sure Do Love You and Sweet Little Something

This is a cute little card.  Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my blog.  You don't want to miss the rest of the great "love" projects.  Please continue on the hop.

Who Doesn't Like a Beautiful Ride?

I belong to a small group of demonstrators in our area.  We call ourselves the Southern Belles.  We meet once a month at the Wendy's in Granite Falls, NC.  As part of our meeting, we swap cards.  Here is the card I made this time.

Beautiful Ride

I just love this little bug.  And the dog!  The card base is Blushing Bride cardstock.  This card has several layers.  Each helps to draw the eye to the center.  The Crumb Cake  layer measures 3 3/4 X 5.  The Basic Black layer measures 3 1/2 X 4 3/4.  The Soft Sky layer is 3 3/8 X 4 5/8.  This makes the black layer appear to be thinner.  I like that little bit of difference in the size of the layers.  It creates interest.  The car was stamped with Basic Black Archival ink onto a piece of Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper and cut out.  The wheels were stamped on Whisper White cardstock and colored in with the Basic Black Stampin' Write marker and cut out with my paper snips.  I glued the wheels on top of the existing wheels.  I also stamped the window part of the car on Soft Sky cardstock, cut out the windows, and glued them onto the patterned windows.  I stamped the dog with the archival black and colored it in with a blender pen. I used Crumb Cake. Before I attached the car with dimensionals, I laid it on the card to determine where I needed to stamp the heart smoke.  The heart of smoke is from the Sky is the Limit Sale-a-Bration stamp set.

Beautiful Ride close up

The clouds are punched from patterned paper from the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper using the Tree Builder punch.  They are sponged around the outside.  One is glued on and the other is attached with dimensionals.  The sentiment is from another Sale-a-Bration stamp set called What I Love.  The larger heart is punched from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  The two smaller hearts are punched using the Owl Builder Punch.  This card just makes me happy!

Beautiful Ride inside

The inside of the card uses a sentiment from Suite Sayings.  Of course I had to add more hearts!  Do you know someone who would love to get this card for Valentine's Day?  I do.  I hope they enjoy their "happy mail".

Thanks for joining me today.  I can't wait for you to see the card I have for you on Friday!  Please check back!  If you are a demonstrator in our area and you would like to meet with us, just let me know!
