Welcome to the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. We are spreading the love around the world! Now you know we all need a little of that! We need a lot of that!
My name is Jo Anne Hewins and I'm from North Carolina in the United States. I'm so happy you have joined us on the hop. I know you'll get lots of great ideas to share the love.
I am using two new stamp sets from the Occasions catalog, Sure Do Love You and Sweet Little Something. I'm going to be a grandmother for the first time coming in April. I thought I needed that bunny.
For this card, begin with a base of Real Red measuring 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4. The Early Espresso layer is 4 x 5 1/4. The Whisper White layer is 3 7/8 x 5 1/8.
Stamp the hearts from Sure Do Love You randomly on the white layer in Real Red. There are 3 different hearts. I used them all.
The patterned heart uses the Tutti Frutti 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. The largest curvy heart from the Sweet and Sassy Framelits Dies was used to cut it.
Those bunnies are so cute, but it is a three step stamp. I do have the Stamperatus and I used it for the bunny. I won't kid you. It was hard to line up all of the layers. Thank goodness I could use 3 of the plate surfaces. If you don't have the Stamperatus, you will want it! If you get these layers all set up for the bunny, you will want to make lots of them before you put them away. That's what I did so my bunnies were already made! Use Crumb Cake for the almost solid stamp, Soft Suede for the middle one, and Early Espresso for the most detailed stamp. You do have to fussy cut the bunnies. Check out the card I made earlier here. Be sure you come back!
The 1/8 inch Real Red Ribbon from the Holiday catalog is carried over. This is what I used for the bows for the bunnies.
The sign is from the Sure Do Love You stamp set. Cut it out with the Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies. Use dimensionals to attach it.
The inside of the card is all part of the Sure Do Love You bundle. The little hearts were stamped on scrap paper, cut out and attached inside the card. I did this because I already had them made. You can certainly stamp them right of the paper. Again, I used the Stamperatus to make sure that the large heart and the sentiment would be correctly placed.
This is a cute little card. Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my blog. You don't want to miss the rest of the great "love" projects. Please continue on the hop.
